I am a clinical psychologist, completed my graduation in Psychology, masters in Applied Psychology and subsequently pursued training in M.Phil in Clinical Psychology. I am a mental health professional licensed by the Rehabilitation Council of India. My clinical interests include working with children, teens, adults and doing diagnostic assessments. I use a broad range of eclectic approaches and evidence-based practices in the psychotherapy and counseling process. The purpose of my practice is not only to help people to resolve their ongoing problems but also to build a better quality of life, establish healthy relationships and also to help them gain sufficient resources to be able to cope with future difficulties independently.

What to expect in my first therapy session?
I strive to create a space that can foster safety for your truest and most authentic self to show up and be present. It is important for us to create a space for you to feel your wounds as well as your hopes and dreams. I am here to guide you into a place of reclaiming your power. To actively choose and cultivate a more fulfilling life and see the pathway forward. I will help you to understand patterns and guide you through personal self-discovery. The ultimate purpose of the therapy is to make the client equipped enough to deal with any future problems independently and be more self-aware and confident in that.
A bit about my approach to therapy
The first session is often about building a therapeutic relationship, where we try to understand the clients problems, actively listen and probe them to open up as much as they’re comfortable about and build the trust with them so that they open up more and feel secure in the therapy process. They’re also made acquainted with the therapy process.
