In my sessions I like to use this approach to help my clients explore themself and the world around them. I believe with a supportive environment that focuses on our strengths and needs, we can bring about all the positive change we want in our life. This is how I like to view therapy, as a process of healing, growth and support.

A bit about my approach to therapy
For me therapy is a collaborative process. Our work together will focus on the emotional and behavioral concerns experienced, using an array of therapy techniques we will focus on finding the ones that work for you and help you meet the goals you want. I primarily use CBT, REBT, ACT and client centered therapy. Alongside mindfulness and somatic experiencing to help you find clarity and deal with the circumstances distressing you.
What to expect in my first therapy session?
Therapy is a slow process, the first session is an opportunity for us to understand each other a little bit. I hold a safe, inclusive space where you can share the concerns you have. Together we try to explore these concerns, in an environment that will be supportive of you. I hope over time you will feel strong enough to share your vulnerabilities with me and we can work collaboratively to make things better. My goal as a practitioner is to help you feel more empowered, while I am going to help you with the obstacles you find, therapy is your journey and I will support that to the best of my ability.
